We are pleased that your paper has been accepted to the Thirty-Eighth
Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS-38). If your
paper was "conditionally accepted" -- requiring mandatory changes -- final
acceptance is conditional upon submission of your revised paper via the
file submission site by September 15. (Optional changes must also be made
by that date.)
Proceedings will be published and distributed by the Computer Society Press of
the IEEE and listed in its publication brochures. You must follow the IEEE
Proceedings Guidelines and their deadlines to ensure that the Proceedings are
ready for distribution at the Conference in January.
These are the
exact steps that you must complete by 5pm PST, September 15:
Use the following information to access your account:

Revise your paper (with either optional or mandatory changes) based
on the reviewer(s) evaluation of your submission.
Upload the final version of
your revised file by logging into the HICSS38 Final Submission site
as instructed in
your acceptance letter. Click on the link "Revise Paper." Follow the
instructions to complete your upload. Your file will be converted to PDF and
made available for your review. Review it carefully. If it meets with your
approval, you must set the status to "Approve." (If instead you need to
revise further, repeat the process above.) NOTE: It is essential that you
review your PDF carefully before assigning the "Approved" status. Once you
have approved your submission, revisions are no longer allowed.
There is no need for you to
specifically prepare an Abstract file. Abstracts are now being
automatically collected through the submission site. This means that the
Abstract is extracted directly from the approved PDF of your paper. You do not
upload a separate abstract file.
Check to make sure your paper information is correct
- In the
"File Status" table click on the ID of your paper (PIDXXXXX) and make any
updates as needed, specifically paper title, (all) authors, and author
ordering. When finished, click on the "Update Paper Information" button to
submit your changes.
Submit a Copyright Form
are required to complete and fax a Copyright Form. The Copyright Form is
available to you only during the uploading process
. To view your Copyright Form, click the link "View" located to the right of
the text "Copyright." A Copyright Form is displayed that contains your paper
title, authors, and the conference title. If the information is correct, you
need only print the form, sign it, and fax it to the phone number
provided at the top of the form. If you have more then one paper you will
need to do this for each one.
Submit your Audio-visual
into your Final Submission account
. In the "File Status" table click on the ID of your paper (PIDXXXXX).
Complete the appropriate fields for the particular AV support you are
requesting, and submit.
Make your plans to attend
is a popular destination in January, we urge you to make your travel plans as
soon as possible. You must register at least one author by October 1. See
