HICSS Symposium and Workshop Reports and Monographs

This website is devoted to the publication of reports and monographs from Symposia and Workshops held in conjunction with the Hawaii International Conference on System Science each January.  These publications result from the presentations, discussions, and other activities in these special sessions. The concepts developed in these publications often inform subsequent research and practice.  Therefore, they are part of the official publications of the conference. 

Generally these publications are reviewed by the Symposium and Workshop leaders, and they are not published in the Conference Proceedings which are published and copyright by the IEEE.   These reports and monographs are published for the academic community only on the conference website and are available for download in PDF format from that website.  The copyright is held by the authors.
