Thirty-Second Annual

HAWAI'I INTERNATIONAL

CONFERENCE ON

SYSTEM SCIENCES

on the Island of Maui

January 5 - 8, 1999

Call for Papers

HICSS provides a forum for the interchange of ideas, research results, development activities and applications among academicians and practitioners in the information, computer, and system sciences. HICSS-32 will consist of advanced seminars, tutorials, open forums, task forces, plenary lectures, a distinguished guest lecture, and the presentation of accepted manuscripts which emphasize research and development activities in several areas of the system sciences. Awards for Best Papers, selected by the program committee in each of these areas, are awarded after the meeting.

There is a high degree of interaction and discussion among HICSS participants, as the meeting occurs in a workshop-like setting. Registrants are expected to attend the entire conference and actively engage in these discussions.

HICSS conferences are devoted to advances in the information, computer, and system sciences, and encompass developments in both theory and practice. Invited papers may be theoretical, conceptual, tutorial or descriptive in nature. Submissions undergo a peer referee process and those selected for presentation will be published in the Conference Proceedings. Submissions must not have been previously published.

Because HICSS is a nonprofit activity funded entirely by registration fees, all participants and speakers are expected to have their organization bear the costs of their expenses and registration.

Listed below are the tracks that will be offered at HICSS-32. Select a track to get information about the minitracks and minitrack chairs.
