32nd Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences
Maui, Hawaii - JANUARY 5-8, 1999
Emerging distributed collaborative work frameworks and the respective software technology will enable the cooperation of geographically dislocated individuals and groups. Global networks with their opportunity of sharing and communicating information encourage dynamic, highly interactive, augmented and virtual reality environments for multiple users and groups to define, follow and reach commercial and industrial goals -- independent of time and space. Hot topics related to the development of multi-user work environments are: enabling technologies for collaborative work, coordination technologies, telecooperation, multiagent systems, virtual organizations (virtual enterprise, virtual factory, virtual classroom, etc.), augmented CSCW-environmnets, distributed multimedia systems, multi-user virtual reality and networking and internet technologies.
We would also appreciate your assistence in the reviewing process. If you would like to be a HICSS-32 reviewer, please send a note with your name, address, and research interest to the minitrack coordinators.
