We believe that you gain more from the HICSS conference by staying at the conference hotel, when possible. Therefore, we blocked more than 3/4 of the Outrigger Wailea Resort for this year's conference. Still, we have learned that we filled our room block by October 31. The hotel is taking a waiting list, which will accommodate some people, and your travel agent may be able to help you find suitable alternate accommodations.

Because we know that the other resort hotels in the Wailea area likely will have much higher rates than we have been able to arrange at the Outrigger, we have arranged with Kihei Maui Vacations on Maui for alternate accommodations with varying price ranges and condominium styles to suite most HICSS-34 participants. Be sure to identify yourself as a HICSS participant when you contact Kihei Maui Vacations.
