Author Instructions: From Manuscript to Publication

 
Overall Processes

1.      Prepare Manuscript

2.      Submit initial manuscript for review

3.      Receive acceptance notification by August 15

4.      Revise manuscript and add author names by August 29 or September 15

5.      Submit for publication by September 15

 

1.      Prepare Manuscript

a.      Prepare INITIAL manuscript using initial format specifications.

b.      Convert manuscript to PDF format for submission.

c.      Please note that the manuscript should not have author name(s) at this stage.

 

2.      Submit initial manuscript for review

a.      Final date for submission June 15.

b.      Submission time is Hawaii time (i.e. 3 hours behind/earlier than Pacific time or PST, 6 hours earlier than New York or EST).

c.      Instructions for submitting initial manuscript.

d.      Please note that a manuscript cannot be submitted to more than one minitrack.

 

3.      Receive acceptance notification by August 15

a.      If ACCEPTED WITH MODIFICATION:

                                       i.            Revise manuscript, add authors name(s) and resubmit to PCS according to initial submission instruction (as in #2 above) by August 29. Full acceptance notice by Sept 10, if not, contact minitrack chair.

                                     ii.            Then upon full acceptance submit final paper as below in 3b

 

b.      If ACCEPTED WITH OUT  MODIFICATION:

                                       i.            Add authors names and make any improvements to your final paper.

                                     ii.            Submit your final paper for publication by September 15.

                                   iii.            Follow the FINAL format specifications

                                   iv.            Note that this is a different submission process than the initial manuscript. Note that this is a different submission process than the initial manuscript.

                                   v.            Submit the source file (not a pdf) to the ICP publication site following Instructions for submitting FINAL paper.
